This is a scroll my daughter and I made for her French class. The assignment required that she write a poem in French and include some kind of artwork in the finished presentation of it. Apparently, anything will do, even clipart. So we made the scroll. It's made from wood dowel pieces, polymer clay, and some little faux gems.
The "paper" is tea-dyed yellow fabric that was run through the printer using a multi-step process that I call "The Happy Accident." I love it when a not-so-well thought out plan goes terribly right!
This can be hung with cafe rod brackets. I think I will try my hand at longer and more detailed scrolls.
